This beautiful clam shell heart bangle is cast from an original Victorian heart.
A solid double sided design with a satisfying weight.
Hearts symbolise Love and Compassion.
Handmade in recycled Sterling Silver by us at Golden Snowdrop Jewellers in Shaftesbury, Dorset.
Suspended on a 2mm wide bangle, finished with our favourite dappled hammered finish.
Heart measuring approximately 20mm across.
Bangle measures 65mm diameter (medium) please contact us if you would like this piece made in a different size.
Matching drop earrings and a matching necklace are also available.
The Collections Personal Story:
Our founder Stephanie Longhurst has always had a love of antique jewellery, for both its craftmanship and it's symbology. This "pillow" heart, as they are often called for their shape, caught her eye for its unusual clam shell pattern. Found on an antique "Albertina" (ladies pocket watch chain) the original was hollow and had suffered some damage. With some love and restoration we bought it back to life and created a mould that allowed us to lost was cast a solid more tactile version of the original.
We look forward to this collections story continuing and marking your own moments of love.
