Blossom Small Necklace - Yellow Gold Vermeil

A Cherry blossom necklace.

Handmade in Yellow Gold Vermeil by Mijoux Jewellery in Wiltshire.

Suspended on an adjustable 16" - 18" trace chain.

The pendant measures approximately 12mm by 11mm.

Vermeil is a gold plating onto Sterling Silver. All Vermeil pieces stocked, or made, by Golden Snowdrop are plated in 18ct yellow gold to a minimum thickness of 2.5 microns. This is much thicker than standard gold plating with far better wearability. How long this will last does depend on how your piece is worn and the type of piece. Items such as rings, that have more contact and movement will wear more quickly than earrings etc. To prolong the life of your vermeil pieces we recommend, as with all jewellery, that pieces are removed for sleeping, washing or swimming. Contact with chemicals and perfumes should also be avoided. A soft jewel cloth is recommended for cleaning. We offer a replating service for any items of jewellery should you need it, whether for pieces created by us or purchased elsewhere.
