The Art Deco Era
c. 1920–1935
Emerging after the First World War, the Art Deco era marked a confident shift towards modernity, moving away from the softer, flowing styles of Art Nouveau. Defined by clean geometric forms, strong symmetry, and architectural precision, these designs often feature platinum settings and striking contrasts of colour. Diamonds are frequently paired with bold stones such as sapphire, emerald, or onyx, creating pieces that feel both structured and enduringly elegant.
