Sapphire and Diamond Platinum and 18ct Yellow Gold Ring

A beautiful ring designed to use our customers original oval cut sapphire.

Design and Production Process

  • Hand-drawn and coloured sketches designed with our customer during their bespoke appointment. Drawn to show the top and side profiles to give our customer the best idea of how the final piece will look.

  • The CAD render images that were shown to our customer before having the mount cast in platinum and 18ct yellow gold.

  • The main shank of the ring was cast in 18ct yellow gold and the head in platinum. The separate pieces were joined together, the stones set and then hand finished by our jeweller.

The Final Piece

A beautiful sapphire that has been claw set in platinum. This continues down each shoulder in a twist where a diamond is set within each. The colour of the sapphire is shown to it's full glory by the yellow gold band.
