Sapphire and 18ct Yellow Gold Wax Carved Ring

A beautiful Cushion Cut, stunning, Sapphire and 18ct Yellow Gold Wax Carved Ring. This was a bespoke design by our lead jeweller and in-house designer and was made in store for our customer using her original Sapphire as the centre piece.

Design and Production Process

During our customers initial bespoke consultation, the design came to life and was created by our lead designer to our customers preferences and specifications.
The next part of the process was hand carving a wax model to the correct proportions which would be used to cast the 18ct, Yellow Gold into the correct shape. The head of the ring was carefully crafted to house our customer's cushion shaped Sapphire and he band was hand carved to give a more organic texture to the ring.

The Final Piece

The completed Sapphire and 18ct Yellow Gold Ring, which was a bespoke design and hand made here by wax carving and casting at Golden Snowdrop Jewellers. The Sapphire is without a doubt a showstopper, but the 18ct Yellow Gold Band itself was carefully carved to ensure an organic texture, resembling with cut of the Sapphire which finishes the piece perfectly.
